Most of the mod’s rules are set with its own command:
/daot gamerule <rule> <value>
For example /daot gamerule titanGriefing false stops Titans from breaking blocks. You need to be an operator (or
have cheats on in single player). /daot gamerule alone lists them.
Four rules are not in that list: realisticODM, gunGriefing, cartAssist, and beastTitanStoneReq. Set them with
Minecraft’s own command, for example /gamerule cartAssist false. The others work with /gamerule too.
ODM gear
Rule
Default
What it does
allowODM
true
ODM gear works. When false, hooks fail ("ODM is Disabled"), except for operators and players in Creative mode.
realisticODM
true
Hanging on a wire swings like a pendulum and uses no gas. Orbiting needs a boost, Forward + Space climbs, and fast flights smash glass.
weatherAffectsODM
false
In the rain, the gear can jam for 2 to 5 seconds (a 5% chance every second while hooked).
kineticODMdamage
false
Flying into a wall fast hurts you (up to 20 damage).
realisticResourceUse
false
Gas Canisters refill only in the Hardened Furnace, and you can carry at most 4 blades and 2 canisters.
grassODM
true
Hooks stick to grass, dirt, mud, and sand. When false, they do not stick to those blocks.
chargedODMAttacks
false
Hold attack to charge a slash. Eye cuts need a full charge, and a weak cut on a shifter's nape does only part of a hit.
Weapons
Rule
Default
What it does
allowThunderSpears
true
Thunder Spears can be fired.
gunGriefing
true
Anti-Titan Rifle shots and cannon shells break blocks (cannons need titanGriefing too).
allowCuffing
true
Handcuffs work.
Titans
Rule
Default
What it does
titanGriefing
true
Titans break blocks: Titan abilities, the explosion when a Titan appears, lunges and falls of Pure Titans, Thunder Spears, and cannon shells.
unfairPureTitans
false
Pure Titans bite twice as hard, and the player being eaten can no longer cut that Titan's nape or hit its eye.
titanGore
true
Pieces of the victim fly out when a Titan finishes eating.
allowOgreSpawns
true
The Ogre Titan can spawn on Paradis (a rare kind of Pure Titan).
Bloodlines
Rule
Default
What it does
allowRerolls
true
The Bloodline Reroll works.
Titan powers
Rule
Default
What it does
fairTitanPowerLoss
true
Dying does not remove your Titan power: only being eaten does. When false, six of the Titans are lost on death (not the Jaw or Cart Titan).
villagersSpawnWithPowers
true
Each village on Paradis spawns, once, a villager who carries a Titan power no player holds.
injectOtherPlayers
true
Players can inject other players with spinal fluid.
allowShifting
true
Titan shifters can shift. When false: "Shifting is Disabled".
allowSelfInject
true
Players can inject themselves to become a Pure Titan.
thunderSpearGriefing
true
Thunder Spear explosions break blocks (titanGriefing must be on too).
shifterSnitching
true
The whole server sees when a Titan power is claimed or freed.
shiftBossbars
true
A boss bar shows a shifted Titan and its holder's name (with Titan Stealth on, it shows only the Titan, not the name).
ShifterExplosionDamage
true
The explosion when a Titan appears breaks blocks (titanGriefing must be on too).
YmirCurse
false
The Curse of Ymir: holders of six of the Titans wither after 13 Minecraft days (not the Jaw or Cart Titan).
cartAssist
true
An attachment must be set down near the Cart Titan before it can put it on, and the pilot fires the cannon. When false, a gunner in a seat fires.
beastTitanStoneReq
true
The Beast Titan needs stone under its feet or a boulder nearby to pick up rocks.
multipleShifters
false
Several players can hold the same Titan power. When false, each power has one holder.
confirmedTitanShifterKill
false
A holder eaten by a Pure Titan dies at the end of the meal, and the power moves. When false, a holder still alive keeps it.
forceShifting
false
A holder in human form who takes a deadly hit with 90% stamina or more survives and shifts at once.
