Bloodlines

The first time you join a world, you get a bloodline at random. The game tells you, for example, “You have inherited Eldian blood.” Your bloodline decides what you can become. To see yours, type /daot bloodline check.

A server can change these chances in the settings (eldianWeight, marleyanWeight, ackermanWeight, and royalWeight; see Settings).

Eldian

A Subject of Ymir: you can be injected, turn into a Pure Titan, and take one of the Nine Titans (see Getting a power).

Marleyan

• Not a Subject of Ymir: you cannot be injected, never turn into a Pure Titan, and cannot hold a Titan power.
• +20% damage with the guns made in Marley: the Anti-Titan Rifle, the Marleyan Rifle, and the Marleyan Mauser. Their tooltip says “Marleyan Bloodline: +20% dmg”.
• You can read the label of a Canned Herring.

Ackerman

• Not a Subject of Ymir: no injection, no Titan power, like a Marleyan.
• +8 health (four hearts) and +15% attack damage.
• Your blades reach farther when you slash in the air: 1.5 blocks instead of 1, and 2 blocks while awakened.

Awakened Power (Y)

Press Y when its gauge is full. While it lasts (about 22 seconds), with blades in hand:

• Touching a Pure Titan’s nape kills it.
• Touching the nape of a Titan shifter (not the Beast Titan) counts as one nape hit, once every half second.
• Touching a shifter’s eye blinds that Titan.
• You get Hunger XX.

Using it while a Pure Titan holds you stuns that Titan. The gauge refills in about a minute.

Royal

• A Subject of Ymir: you can take a Titan power.
• Your stamina refills 15% faster, and you heal a little faster in human form.
• You can draw your own royal spinal fluid with an Empty Syringe, even without a Titan power. It shows in gold.
• With the Beast Titan, you can give orders to Pure Titans (see Beast Titan), and shifting into it gives the advancement Wonder Boy.

Royal Shout (Z)

Press Z to start Awaken (“Awaken.”). Every villager and player within 200 blocks who was injected with your royal fluid turns into a Pure Titan under your command (“Your blood begins to boil..”).

• It needs 20% of your stamina, and costs 20% plus 2.5% for each creature that turns.
• While Awaken lasts, your stamina drains, faster the more Titans you command. At 0, the screen shows “Your titans are no longer under your control!”
• Press Z again to end it, at least 15 seconds after you started it. Then it waits 15 seconds before you can use it again.

Trading on Paradis

Paradis villagers are not fair to everyone:

Bloodline Reroll

• Block of Diamond × 4
• Ultrahard Steel Ingot × 4
• Ice Burst Cluster

Right-click to draw a new bloodline, with the same chances (you can get the same one again). The screen shows “Rerolling Bloodline…”, then “Your bloodline has changed!”

It is refused when the allowRerolls rule is off, and while you hold a Titan power (“Remove your Shifter power before using this item!”). Becoming an Ackerman or a Marleyan cancels an injection you were carrying.

Commands

Operators can set a bloodline with /daot bloodline set <players> <bloodline>. Anyone can see their own with /daot bloodline check. See Commands.
