Controls

You can change every key in Options › Controls › Key Binds, under Danny’s AOT.

The mod’s keys

Action	Default key	What it does
Hook Left	G	Fires the left hook; hold to stay hooked, release to pull it back. Needs an ODM Grip in the left hand.
Hook Right	H	Fires the right hook, the same way. Needs an ODM Grip in the right hand.
Titan Shift	B	Turns you into your Titan, or back.
Tease Shift	K	Plays the bite and the effects of shifting, without a Titan. Needs a quarter of your stamina and costs 10%.
Reload Blade	R	With empty grips: loads one blade in each. With loaded grips: throws the blades away.
Royal Shout	Z	The Royal Shout: Royals only (see Bloodlines).
Shifter Ability 1	1	Titan ability 1: what it does depends on your Titan.
Shifter Ability 2	2	Titan ability 2: what it does depends on your Titan.
Shifter Ability 3	3	Titan ability 3: what it does depends on your Titan.
Shifter Ability 4	4	Titan ability 4: what it does depends on your Titan.

Titan Stealth	N	Turns Titan Stealth on or off. With it on: no explosion when you shift, no name on the boss bar, no healing in human form, and no forced shifting.
Awakened Power	Y	The Awakened Power: Ackermans only (see Bloodlines).
Toggle Hood	H	Puts the hood of your cloak up or down. Hood up hides your name, and Titans notice you from closer.
Titan Shift HUD Toggle	[	Hides or shows the stamina bar of your Titan.
Load Thunder Spear	V	With grips in hand: loads a Thunder Spear on each, or unloads them.
Load/Unload Flare	X	Loads or unloads the Flare Gun you hold.
Cycle Flare Color	C	Changes the color of the next flare.
Attack Titan Roar	R	The roar of the Attack Titan, while you are in Attack Titan form.
Load/Unload APG Gun	R	With APG Guns in hand: loads one cartridge in each, or unloads them.
Reload Firearm	R	Reloads the firearm you hold.
Shifter Dodge	Left Alt	In Titan form: dodges back, forward, left, or right, for 6 stamina. The Colossal Titan cannot dodge.
Toggle Combat Mode	—	Experimental: a third-person mode where a cursor aims the hooks. No key by default.
Combat Left Hook	—	Experimental combat mode only.
Combat Right Hook	—	Experimental combat mode only.
Combat Block	—	Experimental combat mode only.
Combat Shift Lock	—	Experimental combat mode only.
ODM Skills	[	Opens the ODM Skills screen.

Shared keys

Some keys share a default. The game picks the action from what you hold or ride:

• H: Hook Right and Toggle Hood
• R: reload blades, APG Guns, and firearms, and the Attack Titan’s roar
• [: open ODM Skills and hide the Titan stamina bar
• 1 to 9: Titan abilities and hotbar slots

If two actions get in each other’s way, give one of them another key.

Space (Jump)	Hold while hooked to boost.
A / D (Strafe)	Orbit around the hook.
Forward + Space in the air	Climb (realisticODM rule on).
Sneak, twice quickly	Lock the wires; sneak again to let go.
Left-click	Slash with your blades.
Right-click	Raise your blades.
Sneak + left-click or right-click	Fire the Thunder Spear of that hand.

With the Anti-Personnel ODM Gear: hold right-click to aim, left-click to fire.
