Crashes and other mods
The game does not start
Section titled “The game does not start”Check these first:
- Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric Loader 0.16.9 or newer, and Java 21.
- Fabric API, GeckoLib 4.8.3 or newer, Player Animation Library, and AAA Particles 1.4.7 or newer in
your
modsfolder. See Installation. - Talent Cards or Titan Kill Tracker installed: Danny’s AOT refuses to start next to them. Remove them.
- An add-on that changes the mod’s Titan powers, bloodlines, or commands: the mod stops with the message “Danny’s AoT refused to start.” Remove that add-on. Nothing in your world is changed.
Known crashes
Section titled “Known crashes”- Shoulder Surfing makes the game crash (Danny’s Discord FAQ). Remove it.
Mods it works with
Section titled “Mods it works with”| Mod | What changes |

| Mod Menu | Adds the “Danny’s AoT Options” screen for the ODM gear settings. |
| JEI | Shows the Hardened Furnace recipes. |
| Jade | Hooded players show as “???”. |
| Xaero’s Minimap, Xaero’s World Map, JourneyMap | Hooded players and players in Titan form are hidden from the radar. |
| Iris (shaders) | Blade trails, the APG muzzle flash, and the cannon’s aim arc draw correctly. |
| Distant Horizons | Flares show correctly over far terrain. |
| MCA Reborn | Districts fill with MCA villagers, who can carry Titan powers too. |
| Create | Zinc ore also generates in Paradis. |
| Legendary Survival Overhaul | The mod’s bars leave room for its thirst bar. |
There is no Forge or NeoForge version. Some players run it on NeoForge with Sinytra Connector, with bugs: it is not supported.
